Though I've been obsessed with photography since childhood, my path to this career wasn't linear. I earned a degree in architecture and design, but corporate life left me unfulfilled. It wasn't until I stumbled into wedding photography that I felt that spark. I began shooting weddings in my hometown of Minneapolis in 2007. Two years later, I left that corporate job to pursue my passion full time. For over a decade I built a successful business, working with my dream clients and the best planners, florists, and vendors! I shot weddings not only in Minneapolis, but around the country, and around the world. Even though I had a life and career I loved, I’ve always had a major case of wanderlust, and adventure was calling. In 2018, I followed my heart; my dream of eternal summer. I packed my worldly possessions into five suitcases and boarded a plane with my dog and a one way ticket to Honolulu. It was one of the scariest things I’ve ever done in my life, but also one of the best!
Now I spend my days on the most beautiful place on earth. When I’m not busy photographing weddings, elopements, couples, and families, you can find me visiting family in Minnesota, exploring the Hawaiian islands, or traveling around the world.

I’m based in Honolulu on the gorgeous Hawaiian Island of Oahu. I feel like the luckiest girl in the world to live in tropical island paradise! In addition to Oahu, I serve all of Hawaii, including Maui, Kauai, and the Big Island.
Though I call Hawaii home, I’m a born-and-raised Minnesota girl and my ties in Minneapolis are strong! In addition to being a full time photographer, I manage a beautiful studio space, and I own and manage residential rental properties. Most importantly, all my family and oldest friends live in Minnesota! I’m currently booking 2025 and 2026 commissions in both the Hawaiian Islands and Minnesota.
I also travel frequently (42 countries and counting!) and am available for commissions anywhere around the world. My passport is always ready and I’m a frequent flyer (TSA Pre + Global Entry + Delta Diamond); well accustomed to fitting copious amounts of camera gear in the overhead bin of even the smallest of planes.
