INTIMATE OAHU WEDDING

Congrats to Mika & Michael on their beautiful wedding day! Mika first reached out to me when her in Michael were in the beginning stages of planning their intimate Oahu wedding. She wasn’t sure exactly where they wanted to get married, but she had a vision for their photos. In our initial planning call, we discussed all the gorgeous options on this beautiful island, and they decided on Waialae Beach, right in Honolulu for their ceremony. The ceremony wedding ceremony was small and intimate, with only their parents in attendance. It’s such an honor to photograph weddings like these and they made me feel like a treasured guest. I could feel all the love and excitement and am so stoked for this amazing couple as they begin this new chapter of their lives as newlyweds!

After the ceremony, we headed to Lanai Lookout for dramatic couple’s photos! Lanai Lookout is a drastically different look from Waialae and provided a perfect mix of backdrops. We then headed back to Waialae where Mika surprised Michael by having a Chinese lion dance to honor her roots and to bless their marriage.
