Briana & Nick | Kauai Adventure Elopement, Day 2
NAPALI COAST ELOPEMENT

Day 2 the weather forecast was looking great and the conditions on the Napali Coast seemed promising. Briana had coordinated all the same vendors from their original elopement day and we were all hoping and praying for beautiful weather. I didn’t even rent a car this time – Briana & Nick rolled up to the Lihue airport in their vintage VW van, all dressed in their wedding apparel, hair and makeup done, and came and picked up myself and the videographer, Caleb! I’m sure we got some stares as a bride & groom jumped out and we were all hugging and excited for a day of adventures.
We headed straight to the boat harbor and we could already tell the weather was a complete 180. Sunny skies and a perfect June day; typical Hawaii summer weather. The boat ride began super smoothly and the water was completely different too. Everyone was all smiles! It’s a long ride before you even hit the Napali Coast, but as we cruised by the first major landmark, Polihale Beach, we noticed pods of dolphins all around us. That was the first moment when we were all like… awestruck! I’m sure Briana and Nick had debated flying all the vendors back out and “re-doing” their elopement day, but I think we all must’ve said it a dozen times: “I’m so glad we did this!” The dolphins were just the first of many magical moments.
We went in caves, through waterfalls, saw rainbows, monk seals and sea turtles. We drank local beers. We saw the incredible Napali Coast in all it’s glory (without any fog hindering our view!). Best of all, Briana & Nick got to bask in the glow of newly wedded bliss! Basically day 2 was perfection.
After a full afternoon, Briana & Nick jumped in the water for some snorkeling and Caleb captured underwater video footage. So incredibly epic!
