I loved capturing this sweet ‘ohana on their special family trip to Hawaii!

It’s not lost on me how incredible it is to have everyone together. With busy lives, and little kids, and school and practices, and living in different states, being all together, all at once is increasingly difficult. That’s why I absolutely LOVE documenting these big extended family sessions! I grew up with a big family – my mother was one of ten siblings, and I had 28 first cousins just on my mom’s side. Growing up I had two girl cousins my age and they were like sisters to me. All of my mom’s siblings raised their families within about 20 miles of each other, so playdates and sleepovers and holidays together (and I mean every holiday like Memorial Day and Mother’s Day and Fourth of July – not just Christmas and Easter!) were the norm.
