The Verceles Ohana | Sunrise Family Session in Ko’olina

KO’OLINA FAMILY PHOTOGRAPHY SESSION

I’ve been shooting a lot of sunrise sessions lately, and I AM TOTALLY HERE FOR IT! The 4a wakeup call to drive to these gorgeous locations and meet these wonderful families is 100% worth it, every single time!

Like for this session with the Verceles Family, who traveled from California to Hawaii! They were excited to take their first big trip in a while, as they love traveling and exploring and trying new foods! After lots of planning with mom, Cheryl, we opted to shoot in Ko’olina at a secluded beach near their resort, Disney Aulani. We had the entire place to ourselves! Except for a giant Hawaiian monk seal that made an appearance splashing around on the shore! Early mornings are so serene with pastel sunrises, lower temps, and way less crowded beaches.

I had so much fun with Cheryl and her husband, Joel, but their four year old daughter, Kennedy, really stole the show! She is a total ham and so smiley! She was intrigued by the monk seal and loved dipping her toes in the water! The whole family was so chill and laid back and it was the most magical morning!
