Kelsy, Butch & Parker | Wausau Winter Session

I don’t know about you guys, but I’m starting to feel like spring is just around the corner! It’s only the beginning of March, and already temps are warming. Call me crazy, but I love the season changes in Minnesota, and I get the feeling that I blinked and winter was over! Dare I say we were robbed of our notorious Minnesota winter?! So I’m bringing winter back with a little mini session with one of my favorite couples, the McCartneys! They’re fellow film photographers based in Wisconsin, and over the years they’ve become two amazing friends. We’ve photographed each other (too many times to count! but if you really want to count: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5), enjoyed countless yummy dinners, had getaways in Door County, traveled to California, and danced the night away at barn dances. Best of all, we have the greatest conversations. They’re the kind of magnetizing people that you want to be around all the time. So much so that I’m trying to convince my husband to move to Wausau, WI so we can be neighbors!

We took turns photographing each other for our holiday cards. It was bitterly cold, and our fingertips were frozen, but we still had fun snapping away. ENJOY!
