French Inspired Lakeside Wedding
LAKE MINNETONKA WEDDING
I met Laura when I photographed her twin sister Annie’s wedding a few years back. I loved working with this sweet family and really got to know them, as we photographed both sisters’ engagement sessions at their lakeside family home, and had many planning meetings and site visits together. Their mother, Betsy, is such a gracious host and always has the biggest smile on her face! Betsy always made me feel welcome in their home and I’ll forever be grateful to her and the entire Massie crew! I was so excited to hear that Laura & Scott were engaged and planning their own big day, and even more excited when they asked me to be their photographer!
Laura and Scott hosted the most gorgeous, classic, lakeside wedding weekend in Wayzata, Minnesota. Though they met in New York City and still live in the area, they wanted to celebrate their marriage in Laura’s hometown and show all of their guests everything they love about summer (and lake life!) in Minnesota. With the help of their planner extraordinaire, Rita Swanson, of Premier Planning Services, they incorporated subtle, French-inspired details as a nod to Laura’s time spent living in the South of France, with soft and romantic florals, lots of French blue, baguettes, and macaroons.
