Classic White Wedding on Lake Minnetonka
WAYZATA MINNESOTA WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY
Kaylee & Tips were married on the most perfect September day in Minnesota! This couple was all about the classic and timeless. Lots of white, black, gold, and beautiful greenery. With the help of their planner, Rita Swanson of Premier Planning, they hosted an incredible celebration!
We started the day at the Hotel Landing in downtown Wayzata. For anyone getting married around Lake Minnetonka or in the western suburbs, this is the perfect place to get ready – a gorgeous hotel with lots of beautiful furnishings, white and natural light. From there, we headed to Tips’ family home for a special first look on the dock overlooking Lake Minnetonka. Both sets of parents were there and it was a really incredible moment when the bride & groom saw each other for the first time on their wedding day.
After photos, it was on to the ceremony at a chapel on the lake, St Martin’s. St Martin’s is such an intimate, warm space! Post ceremony, it was time to CELEBRATE! The newlyweds and their wedding party took a boat from the ceremony to the reception venue and it was such a blast being out on the lake and capturing all the hugs, champagne toasts, and happy tears!
The party continued at Woodhill Country Club with cocktails, dinner and dancing the night away under the most magical tent! Thank you Kaylee & Tips for trusting me to document your day! I wish we could relive it again and again!
