Four Seasons + Lanikuhonua, Oahu Wedding Photographer
LANIKUHONUA WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER
Max & Tam were married at the gorgeous Lanikuhonua Cultural Institute on Oahu, Hawaii. As local residents, they wanted to celebrate their intimate wedding with their closest friends and family, and only the most beautiful spot on their home island would do! Lanikuhona features multiple ocean-side outdoor venues with lots of greenery, tropical foliage, and palms, and is the perfect spot for an outdoor wedding that shows off the natural beauty of Hawaii. They can host weddings of nearly any size and there is plenty of room for ceremonies, cocktail hour, and a reception setup, all in their own separate spaces.
We started Max and Tam’s wedding day at The Four Seasons for getting ready photos in their separate hotel rooms. After an adorable first look, Max and Tam presented lei to each other, and their immediate families as is customary in Hawaii. From there, we did bride and groom photos around the property, taking advantage not only of the incredible landscaping, but also the clean, white, modern lines of this luxury resort hotel.
The it was over to Lanikuhonua for an ocean-view ceremony, tropical cocktails, then dining al fresco under and amazing setup on the lawn. Everything was picture perfect, but I was especially blown away by their tablesscape. Farm tables were places under gauzy, white canopies, and framed by towering palm trees. The tables also featured rattan lanterns overhead, twinkle lights, and colorful and vibrant florals with lots of pinks and shades or orange.
