North Shore Oahu Sunrise Session

I don’t get to shoot at sunrise on the North Shore all that often, but I’m soooo happy when I do! Of course the North Shore is gorgeous at sunset with that golden hour lighting and direct views of the sun dipping behind the mountains or ocean. But sunrise is so pretty too, with soft pastel colors, calmer waters, and we usually have the beach all to ourselves.

Which was exactly the case with the Karriker family. We had the most serene morning. And despite it being super early, especially for the teens, they were all smiles and laughs and jokes – such a fun family to capture!
