Oahu family photography – My favorite places to shop online for your family session!

You’ve booked your Oahu family photography session, and now you’re wondering WHAT DO WE WEAR? Don’t stress, because I’m here to help! All of my clients receive my Oahu location guide AND my family session guide, which is packed with tips and tricks, and lots of wardrobe and styling examples. Once you have an idea of the color palette you’d like for your family photos, it’s time to shop. You likely have lots of stuff already in your closets, but if you need new pieces, these are some of my favorite places to shop for moms, kids and dads.

DRESSES FOR MOMS:

Nothing Fits But – I love their smocked, flowy dresses that are flattering on anyone!
Baltic Born – gorgeous maxis, a little more on the formal side. Their velvet collections are so pretty!
Reformation – amazing construction and fit! If you want florals, they have great options!
Anthropologie – definitely have to dig as some of their styles are too bold for photos, but Anthro always has amazing gems
Needle and Thread – I love this British design label for more formal, intricate frocks, if that’s your vibe!
Doen – lots of soft and flowy maxi options
Free People – another major retailer that requires some digging, but Free People always has very flowy, boho maxi options that are drapey and comfortable and work well with the Hawaiian landscape
Pink Blush – Tons of flowy and romantic maxis
Petal & Pup – Again, tons of flowy options
Revolve or Lulus – there’s A LOT to shift through, but they have some amazing finds! I like to search in the “sundress” or “day dresses” categories

Noralee – very curated selection, but super sweet dresses and rompers for little girls
Nothing Fits But – cute rompers and dresses
The Indie Blue – great selection for little girls and babies – perfect for the Hawaiian landscape
Zara Kids – huge selection, and lots of options beyond just dresses!
Rylee and Cru – cute beachwear inspired looks for babies, little girls, and little boys
Quincy Mae – soft and organic pieces for baby girls and baby boys
Reverie Threads – dreamy clothing and accessories

LITTLE BOYS:

Zara Kids – great options for boys – I love to search for linens, waffle knits, and other textures
Rylee and Cru – cute beachwear inspired looks for babies, little girls, and little boys
Quincy Mae – soft and organic pieces for baby girls and baby boys
Baby Gap – great basics and solids for boys (and girls too!)
H&M – again, great basics and trendy pieces too, affordable prices

FOR DADS:

J.Crew – classic J.Crew has all the options you could need; button downs and chino pants and shorts in all color
Zara – classic and trendier options. Great place to search for textures
H&M – another major retailers with affordable and plentiful options
