HAWAII SUNSET ENGAGEMENT

This session just makes me smile! I loved working with this adorable couple and we had the most perfect evening on a pristine beach on the North Shore of Oahu. I love shooting on the North Shore because there are endless beaches and many of them have direct sunset views. It’s a long drive from Waikiki, but I know some great spots that are usually deserted. It’s so nice to get away from the crowds and have a place all to ourselves.

This couple was so smiley, so happy, and so in love! If I could give my couples once piece of advice, it’d be to just be in love! Remember how much you love your person and don’t be afraid to show it! It can be a little awkward at first for some, but if you can cuddle, kiss, laugh, and have fun, I promise you’ll get amazing photos that feel like you!

Halfway through the session, our lovely bride-to-be changed into a more casual look! These outfits are the perfect example of wearing clothing that is comfortable, effortless, and easy. I’m all for wearing something special too, but sometimes simpler clothing choices allow the emotion and love behind the photos to really shine through; zero distractions. And it really lets the beautiful Hawaiian backdrop shine too. We seriously got the most gorgeous, pastel skies the evening of this shoot.

The colors were UNREAL. Hawaii is just pure magic!
