MAUI MATERNITY PHOTOGRAPHY
I’ve known Sabrina & Matt since 2013! 2013! They chose me to photograph their engagement session and their beautiful wedding in Stillwater, Minnesota. I’ve kept in touch with Sabrina over the years, and we’ve become friends, as we have so much in common. We’re both photographers (check out her work here), into health and wellness, but also foodies who love to eat, love traveling, and LOVE Hawaii! Sabrina and Matt have traveled here a number of times, and what better place to return to, to celebrate the upcoming arrival of their first baby?
When Sabrina reached out to me to ask if I was willing to travel to Maui, of course, the answer was a resounding yes! Not only did Sabrina and Matt want to take couple/maternity photos, but they also wanted to do a gender reveal to find out the sex of their baby! Sabrina planned the entire thing. Back home, she had her ultrasound tech write the gender of the baby and place it in an envelope. Then she shopped local at the cutest store in The Twin Cities, selecting a boy and girl outfit. The shop clerk wrapped the corresponding outfit in a gift box, to be opened at our session.
Sabrina’s parents were in Maui too, and we were all surprised when the couple opened the gift box to reveal the sweetest little blue onsie! IT’S A BOY!!
Congratulations, Sabrina & Matt! Your little boy is already so loved and so lucky to have such amazing parents! I can’t wait to watch your family grow!
