OAHU NORTH SHORE ELOPEMENT

From the moment we began emailing, I was already anxiously awaiting Ashley & Jacob’s big day! They told me they decided to elope because they wanted to be 100% vulnerable and not hide any emotion. Talk about dream clients! Give me all the pretty backdrops, and bouquets, and dresses and details, but emotion is really where it’s at! There’s really nothing I love more than working with couples that aren’t afraid to show their love, hug, embrace, cry, kiss, laugh; and this is Ashley and Jacob, to a t.

Not only that, but they trusted me 100% in terms of timing, hiring vendors, and locations. When Ashley told me she wanted mountains and nature, with maybe a little bit of ocean, I knew just the spot to recommend for the ceremony. They were married on Oahu’s North Shore, just as the sun was setting beyond the gorgeous green mountains, and finished in time to FaceTime the fam, pop some champs, and take celebratory photos along the adjacent beach!

It was just one of those days that went soooo perfectly, and I’m just giddy with happiness on the drive home! Ashley and Jacob just felt like old friends, and I felt so humbled and incredibly grateful and honored to be a part of their day.

“Laura was recommended to us by our elopement officiant Alana and we are beyond pleased with our decision to select her to be our wedding photographer. Laura was open and responsive to us from day one. She helped us so much with planning our elopement trip, including recommending a location for our ceremony, a phenomenal private chef for dinner after our ceremony, and our videographer Caleb. She also got into contact with Caleb and Alana about 1 week prior to our trip to finalize details–our wedding day went incredibly smoothly thanks to her! On the day of, she was on time and made our first look and our elopement ceremony so much fun! We hired her to be our photographer, but she really stepped up and served as our day of coordinator as well.
