NORTH SHORE OAHU PROPOSAL

Talk about the perfect proposal! Jack reached out to me while he was planning his proposal to his girlfriend, Yuyeng, during their upcoming trip to Oahu. I had photographed their friends’ proposal a few years earlier and Jack had seen and loved the photos and knew he wanted their proposal documented too!

Planning a proposal is no easy task – especially if you’ve never been to Hawaii before and aren’t sure where to start. There are endless amazing locations – so many that it’s overwhelming. If you’re considering hiring a photographer, I recommend doing it early on in the process so you don’t have to stress! I work closely with my clients to help plan locations and logistics – we always take into account where you’re staying, how far you’re willing to drive, and how you’ll get your partner to the proposal location. We also consider parking, how crowded a beach may be, timing for lighting, the list goes on and on. We always have an exact plan for the proposal so you’ll know exactly where to be and when. I even give you tips for making sure your partner is photo ready and dressed their best! I’m staked out and ready to capture that special moment when you propose, and then for the remainder of our time together we capture epic, celebratory engagement photos!

Which is exactly what we did with Jack and Yuyeng! After getting down on one knee and proposing with the gorgeous backdrop of the North Shore waves, we utilized the backdrop of Kaena Point for fun photos of the happy couple!
