After an epic pre-wedding couples session on the top of a freaking mountain, day 2 of Shea & Nathan’s wedding celebration, their official wedding date, was all about honoring god, their love, and their families.
Their day started with a Mormon religious ceremony at the Laie Hawaii Temple. Photography is not allowed inside, as it’s an extremely sacred time for the couple and their loved ones in attendance. But once the new married couple emerged from the temple, all smiles, we utilized the beautiful grounds all around, capturing photos of the immediate families, and of course the new Mr. and Mrs.!
In addition to the religious ceremony, Shea and Nathan wanted to exchange personalized vows, so after photos at the temple, we headed to Laie Beach park, where they recited their vows to each other, surrounded by their closet family members.
Of course, we also made time for more bride and groom photos at the sunny Laie Beach. These turned out to be some of my favorite photos from their wedding! It was so fun splashing around in the wild waves!
Mahalo, Shea and Nathan, for trusting me to capture your wedding!
